Important: Student Services in Building 10 will be remote on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 8 a.m.–12 p.m. due to construction.



The following services and departments will return to their normal locations:

 Durham Tech Café Operations

Beginning next week, the Café will operate from Wynn Building 10. 

Employees and students should enter through the Café loading dock entrance (inside Building 10) 

via the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) to place orders with Café staff. 

The Café will offer both hot and cold food items and will operate as a cashless facility. We encourage employees and students 

to place orders online through Toast whenever possible. 

The MPR (10-103) will be available as a seating and dining area for Café patrons.


Planned Power Outage – Friday, June 26
There is a planned power outage scheduled for Friday, June 26. The outage is expected to begin at 8:00 a.m. and last until 

early afternoon for Building 10 due to construction.

Student Services staff will be available from 8am-12 noon remotely via phone and email.

Student Services Relocation

The Wynn Center (Building 10) will be closed
June 1 - June 19.


Student Services on Main Campus are being relocated due to renovation and improvement projects around campus.

🎨 CALLING ALL DURHAM TECH STUDENT ARTISTS!

The North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) is seeking student-created artwork for its upcoming publication themed: "An Essential Investment: Centering Students in the Future of Work"


📌 Submission Requirements

✅ Design must relate to the theme

✅ Design should embody the essence of North Carolina's 58 community colleges

✅ Design Size: 8.5" x 11"

✅ Required NCCCS brand colors must be incorporated into the design (see Brand Identity Sheet for approved color palette) - email Dway Pulliam (pulliamd@durhamtech.edu) for the Brand Identity Sheet

✅ Additional colors may be used, but required brand colors must be included

✅ Submit artwork in high-resolution PDF format

✅ Students may submit up to two designs (Variations of the same design do not count as separate submissions.)

🏆 The winning designer will receive a $100 award and be credited on the inside cover of the printed program book

📅 Submission Deadline: June 30, 2026, by 5:00 p.m.
